Getting there…
Okay, I guess this can be my first proper entry into this irregular blog-type thingy. Haven’t a great deal to say, so this will just be test waffle really in order to check how it performs and looks. Anyway, the redesign of my sparse personal pages is almost complete (apart from a lot of scanning of old photos, something that I’ve been putting off for ages). Not entirely sure if I’m totally happy with this page’s look — still wondering if I should have gone for the grey minimalist look of some of the other pages here… nah, bugger it — bright, brash and not taking itself at all seriously is probably more appropriate. Haven’t tried to validate this latest version as XHTML 1 yet, and no doubt I’ll find that I’ve forgotten to XHTML-ise some tag or other. I am aware that meaningful content is still rather thin on the ground here, so I’ll have to rummage around on my hard drive for some banal crap useful and thought-provoking stuff to put up soon. Right, time to post this and see how it looks…
