At last, some good news
Seems the IRA have started destroying their weapons — finally something to be happy about after weeks of depressing news. See: violence pointless, discussion successful. Plus, shock, horror — politician applies common sense — Home Secretary David Blunkett has announced that he wants to reclassify cannabis, so that possession of it will no longer be an arrestable offence. ‘Bout time too! Now let’s make it legal to buy it, Amsterdam style.
