Catching up
God, February already. This week was pretty busy (lowlights included trying to sort out some Windows XP weirdness, highlights included finally getting this weblog to validate as XHTML 1.0 — cheers Rob!), so I knocked off early on Friday and headed over to the Toucan for 4pm… Finally staggered into a cab at closing time, having done some serious ‘unwinding’. Got home from L’s at lunchtime on Saturday, feeling somewhat tender, and spent the afternoon nattering on the phone and watching the 6 Nations rugby. Couldn’t face going out again last night, and decided to do something vaguely constructive, in the form of continuing to refine the Yahoo-style categorized links PHP/MySQL script I’ve been writing. It now works, but doesn’t look pretty, and doesn’t yet validate, thanks to a few rogue tags that have mysteriously appeared. I’m typing this at half-time during the (racist-harbouring) Leeds v Liverpool match, which Liverpool are currently leading 1-0.
Update—it’s now 3-nill!!! Heskey’s just scored two in as many minutes!
Update - final score: Leeds 0 - Liverpool 4!
- Troy’s Big Score
