Just what the world needs, another blog by a web designer

Time flies

Reader, forgive me, for I have sinned. It has been ten days since my last waffle… I’ve actually spent the last week or so being fairly productive; apart from working on an e-commerce site for a client, I’ve also knocked together a little PHP script for storing my links, Yahoo-style. I’ve only just started populating the database with bookmarks, but you’ll find the link to it on the left, entitled Emergency Exit. Additionally, I’ve updated my little script for using Flash/embed tags in XHTML 1 compliant pages — for some reason it worked in Mozilla 0.9.1, but not in 0.9.8 or Netscape 6.2. Oh yes, and thanks to a great deal of nagging from Rob, this weblog now validates completely as XHTML 1 Strict (give or take the odd drunken typo in the entries).

Elsewhere on the web, I’ve just been reading an interesting interview with Noam Chomsky, where he talks about the fallacy of the drugs-terror link. Just as topical is Michael ‘TV Nation’ Moore’s article on Bush’s involvement in the Enron scandal.
