According to Simon Willison’s Weblog, British Telecom’s new site about the history of communication, Connected-Earth, cost £1 million to put together. It’s a strong contender for worst site of the year. Poke and hope navigation. Warning: before visiting this site, tie a long length of string to the leg of your desk or chair, and hold on tightly to the other end — you will get hopelessly lost.

At only DM10.000.000 per zygote, it’s not out of anyone’s price range. And remember, if you don’t purchase anything, you “will be pinged for location, tracked by the nanochip you got implanted during your “polio vaccination,” and assassinated by a team of steel-clawed midgets.”
