Oh dear, The Free Republic of Meles has now been classed as a Capitalizt country. Don’t worry though, I’ve just upped the income tax on the super-wealthy. Meles’ status and description has changed accordingly:

Political Freedoms: Very Good (could be better, but I banned a neo-nazi march)The Free Republic of Meles is a small, socially progressive nation, notable for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, hard-working population of 16 million enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Social Welfare, although Education and Healthcare are on the agenda. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 40%. A nonexistent private sector is dominated by the Door-to-door Insurance Sales industry.
Organ donation is compulsory, it is illegal to make racist remarks in public, employers may fire workers without giving any reason, and marijuana is legal in the privacy of your own home. Crime is moderate, probably because of the country’s utter lack of prisons. Meles’s national animal is the badger, which frolics freely in the nation’s many lush forests, and its currency is the pebble.
