Er, oops
D’oh, Rob phoned me earlier and informed me that my comments weren’t working — whenever he tried to post, he just got a 404 message. In my eagerness to keep the install of pMachine as lean as possible, I renamed a certain directory to see if it was actually used. Everything seemed fine, so I forgot about it. Turns out I managed to disable the posting of comments! I wondered why no one had left a message for ages (even just abuse from friends) despite the fact that the hit counter was rising steadily… So apologies to anyone who’s attempted to leave a message — sorry to have wasted your time. Please do try again, I promise the comments system works now, and it would be nice to know people are actually visiting. I’m off to flagellate myself with a twig right now…
See, it really is working again! BTW, at the moment giving your email address is mandatory, but it won’t be displayed for spambots to grab, nor will I sell it on to a Scientology mailing list etc.
I was trying to visit your site from my Mozilla Firefox browser and got the following error:
XML Parsing Error: mismatched tag. Expected: . Location: http://www.outofthetrees.co.uk/badger/index.php?cat=2&page=1&disp=posts&paged=2 Line Number 60, Column 3: –^
Had to go back to my security risk IE browser. :-)
Thanks for the heads-up, I’ve got that sorted now - just a missing closing P tag. I use Firefox myself, so know the pain of having to fire up IE to view certain pages.
