Weekend at John Paul’s

The Vatican is denying claims that the Pope’s blessing was prerecorded. Wow, all credit to the guy then, loitering at death’s door (or Peter’s gate) and still able to find the strength to “think of the children”:
The message contained a new condemnation of abortion, urging people to “trust in the life that children who are not yet born silently cry out for.”

At this juncture I would like to condemn scientific advance, new medicine and peace. I urge people to trust in the end that people who aren’t dead yet, silently cry out for as well as the return of the birch, leeches and a US sponsored apocolypse or globally warmed flood or something. Mmmm…rapture. Hopefully, God willing, the Pope will do a Queen Mum and recover with the power of our prayers (and a small army of doctors) to guide the faithful in the fight against aids with the promotion of abstinence, the fight against poverty with the catholic church’s centuries old, fabulous wealth and of course the fight against child abuse with reverse psychology. He even went to a mosque…wow.
I guess you won’t be printing this out then?
