The new look
In case you’re wondering why things have gone quiet again, it’s because I’ve been working on the new look for the site on my local server. The layout and typography is pretty much done, but I’ve not quite decided on the colour scheme yet. A similar green to the previous look is a strong contender, as is dark blue/grey. Any preferences?

I did come up with a different colour scheme which I really liked (red-ish orange background with a yellow header and various shades of green and burgandy ‘trim’), and, thinking it would be far too colourful for most tastes, I showed it to a client. To their credit they were bold enough to choose it for their new site (yet to go live, so I can’t give away the URL) – glad they did in a way, but it was a bit of a spanner in the works for this site. Anyway, I’ve played around with all sorts of colours since, but keep coming back to green…
BTW, glad to see the spirit of Pink Socks lives on on the new site.
