The 10 Best Will Ferrell Skits from Saturday Night Live. My favourite: Dale Sturtevant ‘Dissing Your Dog’ Neil Diamond.
Just remember to eat.

Bank Holidays can be pretty dull, so here are a whole truck load of different videos that I’ve been meaning to post for a while.

What happens when you combine 200 liters of Coke and over 500 Mentos mints? You get rather sticky
David Brent (Ricky Gervais) talks about his business expertise to a Microsoft employee [...]
Bit of a spanner in the works as far as the redesign of World of Badger is concerned; I had the bright new colour scheme and layout done, but made the mistake of using the same colours in a mock-up when showing a client some ideas for their new site. I didn’t think for a [...]
Still tinkering with the starter motor, but I’ve got time for a quick hand-cranked post: Legofesto’s take on Abu Grahib. Very effective. (via)
It has been brought to my attention that I have been a lazy git for not posting here in a long while. What some people don’t realise is that this blog is like a beautiful swan – calm and serene on the surface, yet paddling away frantically under the water.
I have actually spent quite a [...]
Boo!
Lost Vagueness, organiser of the Lost Weekend festival scheduled for 23 – 25 June at Powderham Castle, Devon, has confirmed that the Lost Weekend is now officially cancelled.
A last minute opportunity to re-finance the event has not succeeded, despite strong hopes, and the cancellation has now been formally confirmed.
Woo-hoo! The Lost Weekend might be back on… Lost Vagueness have just issued this statement:
There have been rumours of cancellation circulating for the last
day or so after the festival’s financial backers, AEGLive, dropped
the bombshell that they were pulling out. The exit of AEGLive was
confirmed at 11am yesterday (Wednesday 7 June) and cancellation
was formally announced yesterday [...]
Bollocks.
I was really looking forward to this too — there were going to be about 13 of us going at least.
A couple of people have been kind enough to leave nice comments after my photos of the Sultan’s Elephant in London, and asked about future dates. As far as I know, the Sultan’s Elephant will be appearing in Belgium and France later in the year:
Antwerp 6–9th July
Calais at the end of September
Le Harve at the [...]
I was discussing Final Cut Pro and video editing in general with some friends the other night. We agreed that cheesy special effects filters are no substitute for good content and editing. I always think of this video as the benchmark for subtle use of effects.
Oh, and on the subject of video, if you’ve still [...]
If you didn’t see it last night, Channel 4 News’ piece on the two reports into the July 7th bombings is well worth watching online, particularly for the interview with two of the survivors and the husband of another. Apparently the reports make no direct references to the war in Iraq (robust allied action), which [...]
A couple of funny spoofs for you: spoof mastercard advert (possibly not safe for work), and a spoof American right-winger blog which contains the inspired Linux: A European threat to our computers post.
Not a spoof, but quite funny anyway: Tom Cruise is Nuts (although not as funny as the South Park ‘Come Out of the [...]
After watching the spectacle of Royal De Luxe’s Sultan’s Elephant on Saturday, there was no way I was going to miss the final day. Thankfully the weather was really warm and sunny this time, so I left my brolly at home. Got to Piccadilly at about 2.30 to see the elephant, then made our way [...]
